Join the boat at Skipton for a morning cruise to Gargrave. Continuing on we pass through three further locks before crossing the river Aire at Priest Holme aqueduct. We soon reach the six very pretty Bank Newton locks which raise us a further 56 feet to the East Marton level.

The canal twists and turns through spectacular moorland with magnificent Pennine views.

We reach our evening mooring through an unusual double arched bridge close to the small village of East Marton with a short walk to the local inn. Return to Skipton the following day.
